Enthink SmartForm 1.2 released

Enthink is pleased to announce the newest release of SmartForm. SmartForm provides an easy way for your authors to edit and manage their forms and is used in conjunction with Open Text Web Solutions (formerly RedDot).

SmartForm allows content editors to design forms, quickly and easily, from ready-made templates or customized fields. Using an intuitive "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) interface, users can drag and drop fields to create forms such as: Customer Contact, Information Request, Survey, Feedback and Rating forms.

In an effort to enhance SmartForm while continuing to improve the user experience, this new release includes the ability for administrators to use SmartForm within SmartTree, thus eliminating the need to pre-execute within a template. In addition, we have added more flexibility when using SmartForm within containers, thereby making your project simpler to manage. The new version also takes advantage of the new SmartEdit menu features within Open Text Web Solutions (RedDot), provided more browser options for authors and additional options for active templating.

Pre-execution no longer necessary in templates
Compatibility with any active templating language used in your project including C#, ASP.NET, PHP, and classic ASP
Server IP confirmation for license keys making setup easier
Increased author support for creating forms using Safari, Chrome, and Firefox
Fixed issues with layout
Fixed issues with the CMS security model
